I’ve long been going to the quiet place to wait,

where stillness is movement where waiting is wisdom

where what comes next shapes what comes next

where the shape of waiting matters

seeking

self,

and other

and in between

Nothing arrives,

steeped in solitude

bathed in bareness

bold, untold

glistening,

gliding

gyre

behold,

abounding bounty

sensing, sensing

senses sing
